Inter Miami 2-0 Real Salt Lake: Luis Suarez makes MLS debut alongside Lionel Messi

Luis Suarez made his MLS debut for Inter Miami on Saturday, playing alongside Lionel Messi in a 2-0 win over Real Salt Lake.

The Uruguayan striker, who joined Inter Miami from Atletico Madrid in the summer, came on as a substitute in the 60th minute and made an immediate impact, setting up Messi for the opening goal just two minutes later.

Messi then doubled Inter Miami's lead in the 75th minute, scoring from the penalty spot after Suarez was fouled in the box.

The win moves Inter Miami up to 10th place in the Eastern Conference, while Real Salt Lake remains in 11th place.

Suarez's debut was a much-anticipated event, with the 35-year-old striker having been one of the most feared goalscorers in the world for many years.

He is expected to play a key role for Inter Miami in the coming weeks and months as they look to make a push for the playoffs.
